All sales of goods supplied
are subject to these conditions and no other conditions
shall apply.
1 Carriage
and Packing
Orders over £100.00 (ex VAT) are delivered carriage
free to UK mainland destinations. On orders below
£100.00 a packaging, carriage and administration
charge of £8.00 will be added. Carriage on all
orders for Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man will be
charged at cost.
2 Value
Added Tax
The prices listed in this catalogue are not displayed
with VAT included. VAT will be levied on all items
at the 'Checkout' stage and shown in the total.
VAT Exemption is available on certain items. (Look
out for 'VX' on the end of a product title, that shows
we will sell this item VAT Free to those who are eligible)
Claims (if applicable) should be made with supporting
certificate at the time of the order. We have the
relevant form available to download from this website

3 Minimum
Order
We normally have a minimum order value of £50.00
(ex VAT). However, for the purposes of this website,
we WILL accept orders of less than £50 (ex VAT),
but will add an extra charge of £5 on those
orders, this will be noted on your total in the 'Checkout'
and on all documentation (invoices, receipts etc.)
4 Prices
We will maintain published prices for as long as possible
- however, prices are subject to change without prior
notice. Prices quoted are subject to revision in the
event of any increase in costs incurred by Multisensory
Environments between the date of acceptance of order
and the date of delivery.
5 Payment
Payment is due within 30 days of invoice. Payment
must be made payable to Multisensory Environments.
Multisensory Environments is entitled to charge interest
on overdue payments at 3% per annum over the base
lending rate for the time being of Barclays Bank Ltd.
6 Risk
and Title of Goods
Risk in goods supplied will pass on delivery. Title
in the goods shall remain with Multisensory Environments
until payment in full has been made.
7 Goods
All goods are offered subject to availability.
8 Delivery
Dates
Delivery dates quoted are estimates only and are not
guaranteed and Multisensory Environments shall not
be liable for any delay in delivery or any consequence
thereof.
9 Receipt
of Goods
The goods when received will include a Delivery note
which should be checked carefully with the contents.
Any discrepancy should be notified to us immediately.
10 Wrongly
ordered Goods
If goods are genuinely ordered in error the company
will discuss with the customer the possibilities of
returning the goods. In instances where this is agreed
the company will levy a charge for handling, packing
and delivery.
11 Claims
for Shortages and Missing Goods
A) Notification of damage or shortage must be made
to Multisensory Environments within THREE DAYS of
receipt of goods. If goods are damaged on receipt
you may either refuse delivery, or sign the carrier's
delivery note "damaged in transit" and inform
us immediately
B) Notification regarding non-delivery or part of
a consignment must be made to the Company with 3 days
from the receipt of the goods, otherwise no claim
can be entertained.
C) Please do not attempt to return any goods without
prior authorisation. In the event of a query, contact
our Customer Service Department who will advise you
how to proceed.
12 Returned
Goods
Multisensory Environments will not accept back goods
which are made to order or have a covering material
colour chosen by the customer. Multisensory Environments
will not accept any returns of Special Order goods..
Other products may only be returned in a fully re-saleable
condition. Such products will be subject to a restocking
charge of 15%.
All returns must be accompanied by a returns authorisation,
obtainable from our team of sales advisors. Without
this number no return will be accepted. Your statutory
rights are not affected.
13 Overseas
Orders
All prices are all ex-works. Packing, FOB or CIF charges
will be at extra cost. normally payment is required
before delivery and we will forward a Porforma invoice
for this purpose.
14 Catalogue
Descriptions
We take great care to ensure that catalogue descriptions
and illustrations are clear and accurate. Our policy
is continual improvement, consequently some products
may vary slightly from those described. All colours
and sizes are approximate. The reproduction of colours
is as accurate as photographic and printing processes
allow. The company reserves the right to alter designs
and specifications without prior
15 Private
Customers
Goods can be supplied on a cash with order basis,
against a pro-forma invoice or through major credit
cards. Credit can be given to approved account holders
subject to status.
16 Faulty
Goods and Liability
Multisensory Environments warrants that all goods
supplied shall be of suitable quality and free of
defects of material or workmanship and will replace
or at its option repair all such faulty goods notified
to it within twenty eight days of delivery. All other
warranties conditions guarantees or representations
express or implied are excluded and Multisensory Environments
(apart from its liability to replace or repair faulty
goods in accordance with these terms) shall not be
liable for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever consequential
or otherwise due to or caused by any defects or deficiencies
in or by the use of goods supplied (other than liability
for death or bodily injury caused by the negligence
